Every hevna shower system is solid, unlacquered metal — no coating, no sealer. The finish is the metal, so it lives and changes with use. In a shower, water and steam simply speed that up.
Copper — warms into rich russet and chocolate browns; constant water deepens it faster.
Brass — settles into deep amber and soft antique brown over time.
Water spots are normal — hard water leaves light mineral marks. They wipe away in seconds and aren't damage.
Want it bright? A quick dry after use and an occasional polish keeps it gleaming.
Want it aged? Leave it — the wet zones patina first into a deep, even tone.

¿Aguantará el latón el vapor y la humedad diaria?
Sí, y envejece maravillosamente por ello.
El latón sin lacar no tiene sellador, por lo que el vapor y el agua tibia de la ducha profundizan su pátina más rápido que en cualquier otro lugar de la casa. Esto es carácter, no daño.
Nada se corroe ni se descascara. Límpialo con un paño suave de vez en cuando para evitar que las manchas de agua destaquen, o déjalo solo y deja que se oscurezca hasta un tono cálido y antiguo.
¿Puedo devolver el brillo más tarde?
Sí. Un pulidor de latón, o jugo de limón con bicarbonato de sodio, lo devuelve a su color dorado brillante en unos minutos.
La pátina es siempre reversible. Tú eliges: púlelo mensualmente y mantén el brillo, o déjalo tranquilo y deja que se desarrolle. Ninguna de las opciones es incorrecta.
¿Qué presión de agua necesito?
La presión residencial estándar hace funcionar cómodamente la mayoría de los sistemas de ducha de latón. El rango de funcionamiento recomendado se indica en las especificaciones del producto. Si su casa tiene una presión inusualmente baja, consúltenos antes de realizar el pedido. Preferimos verificarlo con usted que enviarle algo que le decepcione.
¿Merece la pena frente a un set de ducha más barato?
Los sistemas de ducha baratos son de zinc o latón fino con un revestimiento. En un ambiente cálido, húmedo y de uso diario, el revestimiento es lo primero que falla, y una vez que lo hace, la única solución es reemplazarlo.
