La Pivo es el único aplique de la gama Hevna que se mueve. La pantalla se conecta a la pared no a través de un brazo fijo o un montaje empotrado, sino a través de un único disco pivotante de latón plano —un punto de unión limpio y minimalista que permite inclinar la cápsula hacia abajo, hacia adelante o en cualquier punto intermedio. La pantalla en sí es una forma suave y redondeada: cerrada en la parte superior en una cúpula completa, ligeramente más ancha en la parte media, abierta en la cara inferior por donde sale la luz. Es el tipo de forma que parece simple hasta que intentas sostenerla en cobre —la curva constante a través de la cúpula requiere que el artesano trabaje el metal uniformemente en todas las direcciones desde la corona, manteniendo la forma verdadera hasta el borde abierto sin secciones planas ni distorsiones.
La pátina verde se aplica al exterior de la cúpula después de la formación —un verdigris denso y mate que se acumula de manera desigual sobre la superficie lisa del cobre, más oscuro en las áreas de mayor oxidación, desintegrándose en cobre puro donde la química encontró menos agarre. La textura se lee como geológica de cerca: granulada, mineral, más parecida a piedra desgastada que a metal trabajado. El interior se deja completamente sin tratar —cobre cálido, brillante cuando la luz se enciende, proyectando un haz concentrado de ámbar hacia abajo en cualquier dirección en la que se haya configurado el pivote. - Brass — starts golden and bright, then mellows into a warm, antique amber over months.
- Copper — settles from bright into rich russet and chocolate tones.
- It ages evenly — with no water and little handling, a wall lamp patinas slowly and uniformly, not in patches.
- Want it bright? An occasional wipe of polish keeps the shine for years.
