The Pivo is the only wall sconce in the Hevna range that moves. The shade connects to the wall not through a fixed arm or a flush mount, but through a single flat brass pivot disc — a clean, minimal junction point that allows the capsule to be angled downward, forward, or anywhere between. The shade itself is a smooth rounded form: closed at the top in a full dome, slightly wider through the mid-body, open at the bottom face where the light exits. It is the kind of shape that looks simple until you try to hold it in copper — the consistent curve across the dome requires the craftsman to work the metal evenly in every direction from the crown, keeping the form true all the way to the open rim without any flat sections or distortions.
The green patina is applied to the exterior of the dome after forming — a dense, matte verdigris that builds up unevenly across the smooth copper surface, darker in the areas of heaviest oxidation, breaking down into raw copper wherever the chemistry found less grip. The texture reads as geological up close: grainy, mineral, more like weathered stone than worked metal. The interior is left entirely raw — warm copper, bright when the light fires, throwing a concentrated beam of amber downward in whatever direction the pivot has been set. The brass pivot disc at the wall is left polished and bright, a single point of warm gold against the muted green dome, the two materials in deliberate and quiet contrast.
The Pivo belongs above a reading chair, beside a bed, or at the end of a corridor where directed light matters more than ambient fill.
