Installed this outdoor shower and it performs beautifully. The unlacquered brass develops a gorgeous patina in sunlight. The round rain head delivers a luxurious flow. The cross handles feel truly premium.
Some objects earn their place in a room by doing less. The Soleil Brass Vessel Sink makes no gesture toward decoration — no contrasting exterior, no added handles, no pedestal, no banding. Just a wide, shallow round basin in solid brass, hammered uniformly across every surface from rim to base, inside and out. In a room full of detail, it reads as a moment of stillness.
The form is drawn from the ancient offering dish — broad, low, open — a shape that feels both archaic and completely current. Paired against a dark marble counter or a richly veined stone surface, the warm, continuous gold of the hammered brass holds its own without competing. The fine, even hammer texture catches and disperses light across the entire surface, so the sink seems to shift tone subtly as the light in the room changes — warmer at midday, more amber by evening.
This is unlacquered brass, which means the finish is alive. Over time, the warm gold will shift — mellowing in some areas, deepening in others, developing the kind of tone variation that only comes from honest use and genuine aging. No two unlacquered brass sinks will look identical after a few years of living, and this one will be no exception. The surface is never sealed, never frozen — it responds to its environment the way any natural material should.
The faceted geometric drain, finished in matching brass, sits at the center of the basin as a considered detail — small enough not to interrupt the surface, precise enough to be noticed by anyone paying attention.
Handmade in solid heavy gauge brass by artisans with over two decades of experience working living metals. Restraint, done with intention.
Every hevna sink is solid, unlacquered metal — no coating, no sealer. The finish is the metal, so it lives and changes with use. We build for that.

Every hevna faucet and pot filler is born in fire. Solid brass, poured by hand at nearly 1,000°C.
Never plated. Just honest metal, the kind that only grows more beautiful with age.
Each piece is cast on its own and freed by hand the moment the brass sets. It comes out rough and one of a kind.
Just the first version of a finish that will keep changing for the rest of its life.
From here, every casting is shaped entirely by hand.
The rough edges come off, the curves come up, all of it guided by eye and years at the bench.
This is the part only a person can do.
Both are solid metal with a living finish, so the choice is about tone and what the basin sits beside.
Copper runs warm and reddish, ages into deep browns, and naturally resists bacteria.
Brass runs golden and coordinates cleanly with brass faucets and fixtures. Neither is plated and neither is more durable than the other. Pick the warmth you want for the room. The exact finish and dimensions are listed in each product's specifications.
Vessel sits on top of the counter and needs a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted faucet to clear the rim.
Drop-in rests inside a cutout with the rim showing on the counter.
Undermount fixes beneath the counter for a clean, uninterrupted edge.
Each listing states its type, its exact dimensions, and the faucet style it pairs with, so check the specifications before you order.
This varies by model. Some basins ship with a matching metal drain, others are sold separately so you can match your faucet.
The product specifications state clearly what comes with each sink. If you are unsure, message us before ordering and we will confirm.
Yes. Each one is shaped and hammered by hand, so the texture and the way it catches light are one of a kind.
Dimensions are held to spec within a small tolerance of around a quarter inch. The small variations in surface and tone are the signature of handwork, not flaws. No two are exactly alike, and that is the point.
They will not damage the metal. Soap residue and toothpaste are mildly abrasive, so they speed the patina where they sit. Rinse the basin after use and the tone stays even.
If a spot ever looks uneven, a metal polish brings it back, and the aging is always reversible. A coat of wax every few months keeps the patina slower and more uniform.
Warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach, and harsh acidic cleaners, which strip the finish unevenly.
To slow the aging, wax it occasionally. To embrace it, do nothing at all and let it deepen into its own character.
Return it within 60 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging, for a full refund.
