Most copper lamps wear their making openly — hammer marks, patina variation, visible oxidation. The Luxa takes the opposite position. It starts the same way, as a flat copper sheet pressed and worked by hand into a wide shallow cone, but after the form is set, the surface goes through a careful brushing process. Long, even strokes across the copper, applied by hand in a single direction, until every visible mark from the shaping process is replaced by a clean, consistent grain. The result is a surface that reads as quiet and intentional — warm without being rustic, metallic without being cold.
The cone neck that connects the shade to the cord is also formed by hand — a second, smaller inverted cone sitting precisely at the apex of the main shade, giving the Luxa a more architectural top detail than a simple cylinder would. The whole assembly is kept in a single warm champagne-gold tone, the kind of color that sits comfortably in both modern and traditional spaces without demanding a particular context.
Where other pendants ask you to look at their surface, the Luxa asks you to look at its light. The brushed exterior reflects softly; the open interior floods the room below with clean, even warmth. A lamp that knows when to step back.
