offset-double-bowl-copper-farmhouse-sink-fire-patina
Tandem Offset Double Bowl Copper Farmhouse Sink

Two equal bowls look balanced. One large bowl and one small bowl actually work. The Tandem is an offset double bowl copper farmhouse sink designed around how a kitchen really runs: a big, deep main basin for the stock pots, roasting trays, and full loads of dishes, and a narrower prep bowl beside it for rinsing vegetables, filling a kettle, or keeping a colander out of the way. The two bowls work side by side, each doing the job it is sized for, and the whole thing reads as one confident piece of hand hammered copper at the front of the cabinetry.

The finish is a fire patina — heat worked across the copper by hand until the surface breaks into clouds of near-black, smoky grey, and deep brown over warm raw copper. It runs across the straight apron, over the softly rounded corners, along the rim and the bridge between the bowls, and down into both basins, so no two areas of the sink look alike and no two Tandem sinks will ever match. Beneath the colour, every surface is hammered by hand in a dense, even texture. Each bowl has its own drain and matching copper basket strainer — centered in the large basin, and set within the prep bowl so it drains cleanly without crowding the floor.

Nothing is lacquered, so the Tandem keeps developing in your kitchen. The main bowl, which sees the most water, will soften and even out first; the dark clouds of the fire patina will settle; the rim and bridge will warm where hands rest on them. It is a copper double farmhouse sink with the practicality of a workhorse and the surface of an heirloom.

Installation Type: Farmhouse / Apron Front

Material: Solid Copper, 16-gauge

Finish: Fire Patina — natural living finish, continues to develop over time

Basin: Offset Double Bowl — Large Main Bowl + Small Prep Bowl, Fully Hammered

Apron Front: Straight Profile — Hand-Hammered with Fire Patina

Rim: Hammered Flat Rim Ledge with Hammered Center Bridge

Drain Opening: Two Standard 3-1/2" drains

Drain: Two copper basket strainers included

Mounting Hardware: Included

Customization: Yes — custom sizes available

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0574/3155/6181/files/offset-double-bowl-copper-farmhouse-sink-fire-patina-1.webp?v=1790563724
